On July 4th, Jeremy, a devoted father of four, demonstrated unparalleled bravery when he risked his life to save a nine-year-old girl. In doing so, Jeremy sustained severe injuries that have left him with life-altering challenges. His hands, legs, face, and torso bear the scars of burns that have forever changed his ability to work, care for his children, and live independently.
In the heart of our bustling community, amidst the rhythm of everyday life, there exists courage and compassion! A young man whose journey embodies the very essence of heroism, courage, compassion and now advocacy. Jeremy L. Turner, at the tender age of 30 years, a devoted father, a lover of life, has not only embraced the challenges of fatherhood, but has also risen to confront social issues related to his newfound cause with unwavering determination. Just a regular guy, doing the right thing when it counted! Jeremy’s story of heroism begins not with capes and grand gestures, but with the quiet strength of a father’s love. As he so eloquently stated, “Being a father myself is the greatest gift I’ve ever received.” He made a life for himself in Belleville, Illinois.
